Formatting preference: Brackets, but I will match any style!
Sensitive topics: Please warn me of cannibalism and graphic descriptions of characters being eaten.
Backtagging: I'm open to backtagging.
Threadhopping/threadjacking: Yeah, go right ahead!
Fourthwalling: Maybe, discuss with me first.
IC
Affection: Sure! Anything non-romantical, go right ahead, though Ranma probably won't reciprocate it. For anything romantical, please ask me about it first to discuss more and see if things develop naturally.
Violence: Ranma's from a martial arts focused series. Bring it on. And he can take one heck of a beating too, so mess him up! For anything serious like losing a limb or death, ask me about it first.
Mental or psychic abilities: Nope, none whatsoever! Ranma's mind is an open book for any telepaths to gloss over!
Magical/supernatural abilities: Hoo boy. Ranma's a shounen character, so strap yourself in:
-Superhuman agility: Ranma's been shown to move at superhuman speeds, being able to close distances or jump to great heights in short amount of times. This also translates to his punches and kicks, being able to strike at speeds that register as a single punch to the naked eye or a blur. At the start of the series, he punched one person 518 while spinning around for a couple of seconds. And that was before the speed boosts he underwent later in the series. Obviously, for TLP, Ranma's speed is getting nerfed to hell and back along with his other superhuman feats. He's still nimble and speedy, but only about above average to most people's movement speeds.
-Superhuman strength: He's no slouch in the strength department either. He's carried and smashed objects hundreds times his own size. In one instance, he (as a girl) swam to the bottom of a lake after the Orochi and shoved a boulder large enough to jam the dragon's mouth. Again, this is being nerfed to where Ranma's just about above average in terms of strength. Still packing a punch and maybe able to do something like hold someone up, but anything more than that, no dice.
-Superhuman durability: Ranma's good at bouncing back from things that'd kill most people ten times over, being a shounen and Takahashi protagonist and all. He's survived falls from hundreds of heights, smashed with heavy objects, had most of his bones shattered and he always got right back up on his feet to keep fighting. Once more, you guessed it, this is being dialed back significantly.
-Wall Climbing/Clinging: Technically not really an ability, but it's something Ranma's been shown to do multiple times. He's climbed and clung onto walls and ceilings to move, sneak and spy on people, just like a Spider-Man can. How or why he can do this, it's never explained, just chalked up to martial arts and left alone.
-Mōko Takabisha: Ranma can harness his Ki into an energy beam fueled by his own pride and confidence. The more he believes in himself and his abilities, the larger and stronger it is. Here, it'll have all the strength as his punches do here. Like a rocket punch, but made out of pure will.
-Hiryū Shōten Ha: His strongest technique, where Ranma goads enemies into releasing hot angry energy (or in cases like Saffron, fire/hot air also works) while keeping a cool mind to release frosty ki around him and dodging in a spiraling pattern. Once Ranma reaches the center of the spiral, he punches out a tornado that redirects his opponent's strength back at them. Normally he has to dodge in a spiral, but later uses of this move, he's found ways to workaround this. This, of course, is being nerfed to not be as strong, not that Ranma would get the idea to use it in such an enclosed space without anyone to use it on.
-Umisenken: One of the most powerful techniques Ranma's father crafted, it basically allows the user to become virtually imperceptible when the user numbs their emotion and becomes 'as lively as a corpse'. Attacking anyone in this state will cause it to end and make them visible. This is one technique that Ranma willingly nerfed himself on in canon, sealing it away as he saw it as cheap and dishonorable, both in making battles too easy and that it wasn't created for martial arts but for thievery.
-Jusenkyo Curse: Ranma fell into Nyannichuan, or the Spring of Drowned Girl. When he comes into contact with cold water, he becomes a diminutive pink-haired girl. Hot water returns him back to normal.
Relationships: Of course! Romance's a bit complicated for Ranma, but I'm open to romance as long as it's around his age range and it develops naturally!
IC triggers: IC for Ranma, cats. He's deathly ailurophobic (fear of cat) and will be a mess when there's anything catlike nearby.
Subjects/triggers that could come up around him, seppuku and sexual harassment are the most likely. Ranma's a very private person so he won't ever bring any of this up unless prompted, and if he does, he'll be very flippant about it. I won't drop any of this out of the blue, and I will endeavor to tag accordingly should any of these subjects come up in a thread. Ranma's series is also very outdated with handling concepts such as gender identity.
